Ecoroofs are such a great idea, I feel they should be installed in as many places as possible. Does anyone know of any food co-ops that are currently being supported by roof top gardens? I feel commercial roofs could become a profit center or at least decrease the expense column of the balance sheet.

I saw the news broadcast this morning. The plants look small right now, but I understand they will grow. I am curious, how did you guys get involved in the project?

I am a local engineer in the Portland area. Do you guys have any CAD files showing the the project and what software do you folks use to develop these types of projects?

I have no doubts that this new roof comes with exquisite green features. I am fascinated about green roofing technologies, they bring so many perspectives in comfort and energy saving.

We successfully completed the Multnomah County Building Greenroof in 2003, the City of Portland Building Ecoroof in 2006 as the Landscape Architect for both projects. Multnomah County selected the same design team for the feasibility study and design of the Central City Library Ecoroof including Macdonald Environmental Planning as the Landscape Architect.
